142-Apartment Furniture Package

When Mirvac commissioned their landmark residential tower in Sydney's Inner West, they required a furniture partner who could deliver consistent quality across 142 apartments in a tight eight-week window.

Banksia Home Co supplied and installed complete furniture packages for every apartment — from studio configurations through to four-bedroom penthouses. Each package was tailored to the apartment size and orientation, with the design team creating three distinct "looks" across natural, mid and dark timber palettes to suit the architect's vision.

Scope: 142 apartment furniture packages including beds, wardrobes, living room furniture, dining sets and home office solutions.

Timeline: Eight weeks from order to full installation across all floors.

Result: 100% on-time delivery. Zero defect claims from residents at handover.

Marriott Hotels — Melbourne VIC

Marriott Hotel Melbourne Fit-out

Complete bedroom furniture package across 180 guest rooms and suites at the flagship Melbourne Marriott. Scope included custom-sized bed bases, wardrobes with in-built mini-bar cabinetry, writing desks, luggage benches and lobby lounge seating. All pieces finished in a warm jarrah stain to complement the hotel's contemporary Australian aesthetic.

WeWork — Brisbane CBD, QLD

WeWork Office Fit-out Brisbane

Three-floor fit-out of a new WeWork co-working space in Brisbane's CBD. Banksia Home Co supplied 340 sit-stand workstations with jarrah veneer tops, 60 collaborative lounge chairs, 12 full meeting room table-and-chair sets, breakout area soft seating and reception furniture. The warm timber palette set this Brisbane location apart from WeWork's typically industrial aesthetic.

RMIT University — Melbourne VIC

RMIT University Furniture Supply

Multi-year furniture supply arrangement with RMIT University covering student accommodation (Swanston Academic Building) and the Design Hub precinct. Products supplied include student bedroom furniture for 220 rooms, common area seating, library study carrels and collaborative learning tables. Furniture specified to Australian commercial durability standards for the high-traffic university environment.

Mirvac — Fitzroy, Melbourne VIC

Residential Development Fitzroy

Boutique residential development of 96 apartments across five levels in Fitzroy. Each apartment owner could select from three furniture packages — "Natural", "Coastal" and "Dark" — each featuring a different Australian timber species and colour palette. Banksia Home Co managed the entire project from design consultation through to post-settlement warranty service.

Solotel Group — Sydney NSW

Hospitality Fit-out — Gold Coast

Restaurant and bar furniture package for a new venue opening on the Gold Coast foreshore. Custom-designed dining tables in recycled blackbutt timber, 120 dining chairs with canvas seat pads, 20 bar stools and banquette seating for the waterfront terrace. All coastal-finish treated for the high-humidity environment.

NAB — Docklands, Melbourne VIC

Corporate HQ Furniture Refresh

Workplace refresh across 12 floors of NAB's Docklands headquarters. The brief required a warm, natural counterpoint to the building's steel and glass architecture. Banksia Home Co supplied 480 workstation tops in Victorian ash veneer, 24 boardroom-grade meeting tables (custom sizing from 3m to 6m length), lounge and breakout area furniture and a signature reception desk in solid blackwood with brass detailing.

Our Commercial Project Process

From initial enquiry to final installation, our commercial team manages every step of your furniture project.

Initial Consultation

Our commercial sales team meets with you to understand the project scope, timeline, budget and design brief. We work with architects, interior designers and project managers equally well — and can attend site at any stage.

Design & Specification

Our in-house design team prepares detailed drawings, material samples and 3D renders for approval. For large projects we supply physical prototypes before full production begins, so there are no surprises on delivery day.

Production Scheduling

Once approved, your order is scheduled into our production calendar. We provide a detailed delivery milestone schedule so you can plan your broader site program around furniture delivery and installation. Weekly progress updates are standard on all commercial jobs.

Quality Inspection

Every item destined for a commercial project undergoes an enhanced QC inspection before packing. Your project manager receives a photographic QC report. Any item that doesn't meet our standards is remade — no exceptions, no shortcuts.

Delivery & Installation

Our logistics partner delivers using a two-person white-glove service. Furniture is assembled and placed in the correct rooms or zones according to your floor plan. Packaging and waste is removed from site. No flat-pack left behind for your team to deal with.

Post-Installation Support

Our 2-year structural warranty applies to all commercial projects. We assign a dedicated account manager to each major project for ongoing support. Replacement parts and touch-up kits are kept on hand for the duration of your warranty period.
